About

A kids media expert with global perspective, Phoebe Jiang has spent a decade designing meaningful media experiences for kids and their grown-up guides. She’s an avid storyteller in all mediums, especially weaving curriculum into content to spark deeper learning✨. Her experience spans interactive games to short- and long-form video content [live-action, puppets, animation, etc.].

Phoebe’s superpower is maximizing educational impact for mini media moments 🦸🏻‍♀️. Crafting transmedia experiences that resonate with kids’ lived experiences, however varied and diverse, is her forte!

Phoebe obtained a B.A. in International Political Economy from the Colorado College, and completed her M.A. at Teachers College, Columbia University. From teaching elementary school in rural Yunnan, China (with Teach for China) to toddlers in New York City, Phoebe’s spent years engaging with real kids and families, giving her a deep understanding of this audience.

She loves reading cookbooks, household items with faces (think a banana with a smile), and exploring local bakeries. When not playing with her boys (3 and 6YRO), or dogs (Barkley and Biscuit), Phoebe is probably coloring. 🐸 Kermit the Frog and Phoebe are kindred spirits.
